Oil is another item that can be expensive but is worth buying in bulk if you use it frequently.

Olive oil is a great option for this since it has a long shelf life and can be used for both cooking and baking. Just make sure to store it in a cool, dry place away from the stove as heat can cause it to go rancid. Frozen berries are also great items to buy in bulk since they are often expensive at traditional supermarkets. You can defrost them and add them to doughs for muffins, rolls, cookies and pancakes or use them in parfaits and milkshakes.
